You may have already found out this answer but in fact cmhc is the only insurer that is/was doing rental properties. They have already eliminated the 95% product and you basically need to be golden to get 90%. After April 19th 80% will be your best ltv. Also cmhc will no longer use the rental offset model for calculating debt service. They will be using 50% gross rental and adding that back to your income. This is not a very beneficial way for the customer.
