Carnival of Money Stories #32 – Winter Is Here Edition

Welcome to the Winter Is Here edition of the Carnival of Money Stories! Regular readers might know that I live in Edmonton, Alberta, best known around the world for Wayne Gretzky and our huge West Edmonton Mall.

This weekend we received attention for something else, our amazingly cold weather. On Sunday morning, Edmonton dropped to a low of -46 ºC (-51 ºF), or -58 C (-73 ºF) with the windchill. This made Edmonton the coldest place in North America and second coldest in the world. Only Dzalinda, Siberia came in colder by two degrees.
