Those that have been reading Canadian Finance Blog for awhile know that I’ve been using Questrade for a couple years now and love the low trading fees of $4.95-$9.95. Another nice feature is the ability to keep U.S. dollars in your RRSP account, not requiring currency exchanges every time you buy or sell. Also helping to make it the cheapest option for a discount brokerage is the lack of any fees to open an RRSP, as well as no inactivity fees if you are not a frequent trader.
